Doctor Who: The Chase [22/05-26/06/65 BBC1 TV]

After the Doctor (William Hartnell) successfully evades the Daleks in a pursuit through Time and Space, his travelling companions Ian (William Russell) and Barbara (Jacqueline Hill) take the opportunity to comandeer the genocidal pepperpots' Time/Space machine to return to Earth. They materialise in a lock-up garage, and Ian tentatively looks outside to make sure of their surroundings. The first familiar sight he sees in "White City" station, in reality - and appropriately - just over the road from BBC TV Centre*!
